2nd Annual SENTER Conference

The European Network of Centres of Excellence in Cybercrime (SENTER) invites you to its second annual conference on the fight against cybercrime and open source intelligence (OSINT).
The conference is organized as a three-day event that includes:

  • SENTER Network annual meeting (SENTER partners only), 7 November 2017
  • OSINT Working Day (Open day for all participants), 8 November 2017
  • SIG meetings (SIG members), 9 November 2017
The dedicated OSINT Working Day (8 November) is open to all OSINT experts from the law enforcement agencies (LEA), industries delivering specialized solutions for LEA, researchers and scientists working with LEA and Defense topics. Its main goal is to give an overview on the recent OSINT R&D results, present leading industrial solutions in that area, discuss the future and role of OSINT, and give the insight into the pertinent issues of the fight against cybercrime, for example those related to crypto currencies.

Venue

The conference will be held at Hotel Park, Cesta svobode 15, SI-4260 Bled, Slovenia (Sava Hotel Resorts). Bled is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia, not far away from the Ljubljana Airport.

Prices per room per day (bed and breakfast):
- Standard double room for single use 88.00 EUR

The prices include: bed & breakfast, wireless internet access in the room, use of the swimming pool and fitness in the hotel, parking place – upon availability, VAT. Obligatory surcharges: tourist tax (1.27 EUR per pers. per day) and administration fee (1 EUR per pers. per check-in)

How to get there

Bled is located in the north-west part of Slovenia, 35 km from the Jože Pučnik International Airport Ljubljana. Other airports in the region and their distances to Bled are:

  • Trieste (170 km)
  • Venice (290 km)
  • Klagenfurt (80 km)
  • Graz (210 km)
  • Zagreb (200 km)

Travel to Bled from the Ljubljana Airport:

  • Bus: Unfortunately, there are no direct buses from the airport to Bled. You have to take a bus to Kranj first and change there to Bled. The bus schedules are available here
